Annual Session Program Highlight: Thursday, Nov. 12
There’s less than one month until this year’s Annual Session of the ACP, Redefining Standards: Modern Solutions for Timeless Smiles. To help countdown the weeks, we are highlighting each day of the meeting in the Wednesday Wake-Up Call heading up to the meeting!
Thursday is filled with educational and networking opportunities! General Session begins at 8:00 a.m. and spans the following itinerary throughout the day:
- Zirconia Restorations – From Scientific Data to Clinical Management, presented by Dr. Gerard J. Chiche from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m.
- The Foggy Border Between Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, presented by Dr. Pekka J. Vallittu from 8:45 – 9:30 a.m.
- From Skepticism to Strategy: Redefining Invisalign for the Adult Restorative Patient, presented by Dr. Manal Ibrahim LaVacca from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.
- Complete Mouth Rehabilitation in Fixed Prosthodontics: An Individualized Approach, presented by Dr. Emanuele Cicero from 10:45 – 11:30 a.m.
- Oral Rehabilitation in Severe Xerostomia: Clinica Management Strategies and Implant Outcomes, presented by Dr. Derk-Jan Jager from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.
- Dahl Therapy: If there is no evidence... Why does it work?, presented by Dr. Carlos A. Castro from 3:15 – 4:00 p.m.
- A Conversation with Giants in Implant Design, featuring Dr. Dennis P. Tarnow & Dr. Gerald Niznick, moderated by Dr. Lyndon Cooper from 4:30 – 5:45 p.m.
Take time during the day to dive into new research revelations within the specialty. Join us from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to browse the Resident & Dental Student Poster Session to explore original research presented by prosthodontic residents and students. From 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. join the audience of the John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition where some of our six finalists will present.
In the evening, celebrate and network with members of the prosthodontic community! From 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. join us in celebration as we recognize our newly boarded Fellows of the ACP on the main stage. Following the conclusion of General Session, stop by the exhibit hall for our Exhibit Hall Reception from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and time to network with peers as well as our wonderful exhibitors.
