ACP Webinar: Blending Implants with Nature: Creating Harmony in the Esthetic ZoneEdit

Anterior implant restorations can be highly successful when the restorative team understands how implants, soft tissue, contours, and natural dentition work together in the esthetic zone. This lecture will present a prosthetically driven perspective on anterior implant treatment, focusing on the restorative decisions that influence esthetic outcomes and long-term maintenance.

Topics will include ideal 3D [SO1] [ES2] implant positioning from a restorative standpoint, tooth anatomy and contour development, soft tissue considerations, the role of provisional restorations in sculpting tissue, and designing restorations that patients can realistically maintain and floss. Clinical cases and supporting evidence will be used to demonstrate practical concepts that help implant restorations blend naturally with the existing dentition while supporting long-term health and esthetics.

At the conclusion of this presentation attendees should be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of ideal 3[MM3] D implant placement in achieving predictable esthetic outcomes in the anterior zone.
  • Apply principles of tooth anatomy, emergence profile, and contour design to improve integration of implant restorations with adjacent natural dentition.
  • Understand soft tissue management techniques and the role of provisional restorations in shaping peri-implant esthetics and supporting tissue stability.
