Implant Dentistry 360: Treatment Planning, Digital Applications, and Complications​

This presentation will explore the full application of digital technology in the
implant patient from initial diagnostics to the final restoration and explore their relative ease or
difficulty of use in each area. This course will discuss digital workflow from start to finish including
treatment planning with computer-guided software, guided implant placement, intraoral scanning and
restoration design and finishing. We will also look at the pitfalls and issues that are associated with
technology use along with examining the surgical and prosthetic complications that can occur with
implant dentistry.
At the conclusion of this Lecture Based course, attendees will be able to understand:
1. Digital treatment protocols in contrast to traditional workflows
2. Understand digital technologies that enhance treatment outcomes and increase profitability
3. How to predictably implement and execute digital implant treatment plans in everyday clinical
practice
4. Understand the etiology and clinical implications of the most common surgical and prosthetic
implant complications
