Dr. Diana Pham Appointed Secretary of the ACP Board of Directors
At the Board of Directors meeting in New Orleans ahead of the 2025 Annual Session, the Board of Directors appointed Dr. Diana Pham as Secretary. She will serve for the remainder of the current term, filling the vacancy left by Dr. Louis DeSantis, who was elected to the role of Vice President.

Dr. Diana M. Pham completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with a Distinction in Education from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2014. She practiced as a general dentist for two years in Houston, Texas before deciding to specialize in prosthodontics. She earned her certificate in prosthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree at UTHealth at Houston in 2020 and completed a one-year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oral Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2021.
Dr. Pham has practiced in many dental settings throughout her career from non-profit community clinics, academia, to corporate offices. With the lessons learned from each experience, she chose to help her father transition into retirement, remodel his practice, & start her journey of business ownership in 2023. She is the founder of a fee-for-service private practice in Houston, Texas called Narrative Dentistry. As she navigates the winding roads of career & life, she hopes to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Dr. Pham believes in the importance of community & support of the specialty by being an active member of the ACP and AAMP. She served on the ACP Board of Directors as the Regional Membership Director of Rockies/Plains Region 4 and recently accepted the position of Secretary of the ACP Executive Committee. Her goal is to help strengthen the organization & specialty through membership engagement, mentorship, & representation.
Dr. Pham will complete the remainder of Dr. DeSantis' term as Secretary concluding Oct. 2026. Dr. Pham's role as Region 4 Rockies/Plaines Membership Director will be appointed soon.
