The Board Preparation Course is designed to demonstrate the process of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. This course is ideal for prosthodontic residents and experienced practitioners aspiring to achieve board certification. This course offers comprehensive insights and practical resources that will aid in your preparation for taking the board exam. 

Complimentary access to the Board Prep Study Guide on ACP Anywhere will be available upon purchase of this course. 

This course is worth 7.5 CE credits, and is $649 for ACP members, $1049 for non-members. Event registration includes continental breakfast, light afternoon lunch, and refreshments throughout the day.

Course Information

The Board Preparation Course is designed to demonstrate the process of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. The course is recommended for prosthodontic residents as well as experienced prosthodontists who are interested in becoming board certified. Access to the ACP Board Study Guide is included with registration.

The 2025 ACP Board Preparation Course is taking place in person at the 2025 Annual Session in New Orleans on Wednesday, Oct. 22.  

*Each presentation has its own specific learning objectives and session description.

Continuing Education

Participants of the Board Preparation Course are eligible to earn up to 7.5 continuing education credits. Attendees must complete an evaluation to receive a verification of participation (CE) form. Your sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit for individual sessions is not available.

Statement of Need

The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) is dedicated to stimulating and supporting prosthodontics-related: research, education, clinical practice, patient care, outcomes, restoration of teeth and orofacial structures.

Target Audience

The primary target audience of the American College of Prosthodontists’ Board Preparation Course is its members, including active prosthodontists and residents.

ACP Meetings Code of Conduct Policy

ACP is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and ACP staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, ACP staff members, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this Virtual Programs Code of Conduct. This policy applies to all ACP meeting-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than ACP but held in conjunction with ACP events, on public or private platforms.

ACP has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment by participants or our staff at our meetings. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, ACP asks that you inform either ACP Executive Director Chris Welber or the ACP President so that we can take the appropriate action.

Unacceptable behavior is defined as:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, ACP staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
    •  Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, ACP staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.
  •  Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events organized by ACP throughout the virtual meeting. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any ACP virtual event staff.
  • Presentations, postings, and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitation for services. ACP reserves the right to remove such messages and potentially ban sources of those solicitations.
  • Participants should not copy or take screen shots of Q&A or any chat room activity that takes place in virtual space.

ACP reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and ACP reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.
