2025 Distinguished Clinician Award
The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) honored Dr. Damian Lee with the 2025 Distinguished Clinician Award at the Annual Awards & President's Dinner held at the 55th Annual Session of the ACP, on Oct. 24 in New Orleans. This award recognizes outstanding contributions to clinical dentistry and sciences or health professions.
Dr. Damian Lee is currently a tenured Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his DDS from the University of Michigan and completed his prosthodontic training at the University of Illinois Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Lee has been part of dental education since 2007 and has taught at all levels in both predoctoral and postgraduate education. Prior to joining Tufts University, Dr. Lee worked as the Program Director for the Advanced Prosthodontics Program at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry for over 10 years. Dr. Lee has conducted many research projects in various aspects of prosthodontics and has published many manuscripts in peer reviewed prosthodontic journals in the areas of dental implants, CAD/CAM digital dentistry, dental lasers, and retrospective outcome studies. He serves as a reviewer for major prosthodontic journals, as well as a site visitor for the Commission of Dental Accreditation, reviewing advanced education in prosthodontics program. He has served in leadership positions at the American College of Prosthodontists and several other esteemed dental organizations.
