2025 ACP Education Foundation Founders Society Award
The American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation (ACPEF) honored Dr. Lily T. Garcia with the 2025 Founders Society Award at the Annual Awards & President's Dinner held at the 55th Annual Session of the ACP, on Oct. 24 in New Orleans. This award recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on the growth and development of the ACP Education Foundation.
Dr. Lily T. Garcia is Dean at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and holds Fellow status at several other esteemed dental organizations. She is a Past President of the American College of Prosthodontists, Past Chair of the ACP Education Foundation Board of Directors, and has held leadership roles at several other dental organizations. She served as faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA), International Dental Academy in Tokyo, University of Colorado Health Science Center, University of Iowa, and Dean at University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Garcia has received multiple prestigious awards for her work as an educator including the 2004 ACP Educator of the Year Award. She has lectured nationally and internationally, and has published numerous articles, abstracts, and coauthored several textbooks.
