The UBC Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the discipline of prosthodontics, with an emphasis on digital dentistry. The appointment will be at the rank of Instructor in the Educational Leadership Stream, with consideration of a higher rank depending on qualifications and experience. Applicants must have postgraduate training in prosthodontics with university-level administrative, teaching, curriculum management experience. Applicants should normally have a PhD, or a combination of degree and equivalent experience, and be, or be eligible to be, a licensed specialist in prosthodontics in Canada.

The successful candidate should possess leadership and collaboration skills to enable the prosthodontics program to maintain its reputation as a leading Canadian university prosthodontics program. This position requires effective interaction with other programs in the Faculty and participation in an integrated approach to Faculty of Dentistry policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be required to have potential for teaching excellence in prosthodontics and digital dentistry. Preference will be given to individuals whose evidence of ability and commitment to teaching and promise of educational leadership will contribute to the education of undergraduate and graduate students. Individuals with promising teaching, service and academic experience are encouraged to apply. Service to the University and the community is an expectation.

The successful candidate will contribute extensively to teaching in the DMD and the combined Diploma in Prosthodontics/MSc/PhD in Craniofacial Science graduate program at UBC; will contribute to the program; and will effectively supervise graduate student research. The successful candidate will hold a full-time faculty appointment at UBC with salary, rank and appointment status commensurate with qualifications and experience. Clinical/Tenure Track Faculty Position in Prosthodontics

EON Clinics’ generous compensation package includes a base salary of up to $360,000 annually plus quarterly bonuses based on clinic production, malpractice insurance (company paid), an annual continuing education stipend (up to $5,000 annually), health benefits (cost-sharing and paid time off (up to 25 days). We do not require corporate ownership and the complicated tax liability that goes along with that stipulation – there are no Company tax returns for you to sign and take responsibility for.
