More than 1,200 of the world’s leading prosthodontists gathered in Scottsdale, Ariz. on Nov. 2-5 for the 41st Annual Session of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Prosthodontics is the only American Dental Association specialty devoted to restorative dentistry, such as implants, crowns, dentures and highly complex, full-mouth restorations. To become a prosthodontist requires two to four years graduate training full-time, following four years study at dental school.

During the meeting Lily T. Garcia, D.D.S., M.S., F.A.C.P., of San Antonio will be installed as President. Dr. Garcia is the first Hispanic to serve as President of the ACP.
