Table Clinic Presentations
The ACP is accepting residents and dental student applications to present a table clinic at the 2012 Annual Session. The table clinics session is scheduled for Thursday, November 1 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A table clinic can be a presentation of research results, clinical outcomes, laboratory techniques, or topics of general interest to the American College of Prosthodontists' members and guests. The format will be poster presentations, bulletin boards will be provided. Tables will not be available for models and materials. Commercial presentations are not appropriate for this session.
Two judged competitions will be conducted at the table clinics session. One competition will be for prosthodontic residents. Current graduate students or clinicians who have completed their graduate training during the year of the competition are eligible for the competition. The second competition will be for dental students. Winners of the competitions will receive cash awards and invitations to the ACP Annual Awards Dinner as guests of the ACP.
If you are interested, complete the table clinic application and e-mail it to education@prosthodontics.org by the August 10, 2012 deadline. Please invite residents and interested dental students to participate in the table clinics session. A list of requirements and recommendations for table clinic presentations is also available. The table clinic abstract, a required part of the application, will be published in a Table Clinic brochure and distributed at the ACP Annual Session. John J. Sharry Competition
Call for Applications
The John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition, sponsored by the Education Foundation of the American College of Prosthodontists, will be held during the Annual Session of the College at the ACP 2012 Annual Session at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland on November 1, 2012.
The Prosthodontic Research Competition is held to stimulate and acknowledge original research in Prosthodontics by students. The ACP Research Committee strongly encourages all programs to participate in this program.
Eligibility: Students are eligible if they are currently enrolled in a post-doctoral Prosthodontic program or have completed such a program in the last three (3) years. Papers must not have previously appeared in print.

Individuals recording with personal video/audio equipment or other recording devices (i.e. cell phones, digital or film cameras or tape recorders) without prior permission from the ACP or without proper credentials will be asked to cease recording or using these devices immediately.
