The goal of the award is to advance understanding of prosthodontic-related biological and/or materials systems, human behavior, cost and care of delivery as well as economic modeling and Quality of Life investigations. The scope of research is any area of science that contributes to the understanding of prosthodontic tooth replacement therapies.

The mission of the ACPEF is to secure and steward resources with the aim of advancing prosthodontics. As a catalytic agent for prosthodontics, the ACPEF provides funding to support education, research and growth of the specialty and discipline of prosthodontics.


Volunteer of the Month 

  

The ACP Education Foundation would like to thank 2011 Annual Appeal Chair and ACP member Dr. Gregory Guichet for his tireless efforts on the Annual Appeal Committee. Dr. Guichet has served as Annual Appeal Chair for the past three years. "Over the last three years I have had the pleasure of working with some truly inspired and inspiring volunteers who believe in the vision of the ACP Education Foundation," said Dr. Guichet. "I am excited about the future of the Foundation and thank you for the opportunity to be of service."

 

Dr. Guichet graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and received his specialty training in prosthodontics from the University of Southern California. He currently works in private practice in Orange, California.
